Case study — Paris

Haussmann Apartment, Paris

A classic Parisian apartment brought into the present — the same design sensibility we bring to every project, at home and abroad.

Paris — period character preserved, contemporary comfort added

The brief

A Haussmann apartment with beautiful bones — mouldings, herringbone floors, tall windows — but a dated, compartmentalised layout that no longer matched the way the owners lived. The goal: open it up, bring in light, and add contemporary comfort without erasing its Parisian soul.

The design

We restructured the plan around a bright, open kitchen at the heart of the apartment, opened sight lines between the reception rooms, and reworked storage and lighting throughout. Period details were carefully preserved and set against clean contemporary lines and refined materials — marble, oak, brushed brass — for a home that feels both timeless and current.

This is the Parisian eye our international clients seek: a sense of proportion, restraint and material quality that travels — and that we deliver just as precisely from a distance as on our doorstep.
